Job summary

DHL is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Centralised Control Room team at Manton Wood, Worksop, UK. This permanent, full-time role focuses on turning data into actionable insights to improve productivity and performance across sites.

You will explore data, identify root causes, and work with colleagues to provide timely performance insights and support daily routines. The role offers a structured shift pattern and opportunities to develop while shaping how we work in the future.

Responsibilities

• Using data to spot opportunities, explore the detail and turn insight into action, helping teams improve productivity and operational performance
• Monitoring performance across multiple sites, using strong attention to detail to identify trends, exceptions and anomalies that need attention
• Working with colleagues and managers to understand challenges, identify root causes and find practical solutions
• Providing clear, timely and accurate performance insights that help teams make informed resource and operational decisions
• Supporting daily performance routines, bringing together the right information and helping teams focus on what matters most
• Investigating performance and data issues, drilling into the granular detail to understand what's driving the result and working with others to resolve issues
• Providing insight to support key management routines including performance reviews, 1:1s, Gemba walks and process confirmation

Data Analyst Pay Rate: £27,562.74 Grade: RCS O Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Working Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm on rotation Location: Manton Wood - Worksop

This is much more than a traditional Data Analyst role. You'll work with colleagues across multiple sites, getting into the detail, identifying root causes and turning insight into practical action that can directly influence productivity and performance. You don't need to know everything from day one. Whether your experience comes from operations, planning, performance, data or another transferable background, what matters most is that you're curious, comfortable asking questions, enjoy solving problems and are keen to learn. Typical day may involve:

• Like working with data, but also enjoy working with people and making a difference
• Can communicate clearly and are comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas
• Are organised, adaptable and comfortable in a changing operational environment
• May have experience in operations, planning, performance or data, but equally may bring transferable skills and a willingness to learn
• Digitally confident and technically minded, with experience using multiple systems, digital solutions or data tools, and are comfortable learning new technologies and understanding how different systems work together
