Job summary

Achieving for Children Community Interest Company is seeking an entry-level analytics-focused analyst to deliver information on service performance through data collection, validation and interpretation. You will support performance leads, assist with reporting, and help maintain performance systems to underpin commissioning and strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes data quality, timely reporting, and collaboration with managers to drive service improvement while developing technical data

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (desirable).
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of children’s services data recording and statutory reporting frameworks (desirable).
  • Proficiency in social care and/or education management systems (Liquid Logic preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Experience in building reports and data visualization (e.g., Business Objects, SQL, Power Query, Python, Power BI).
  • Strong relationship-building skills for collaborative reporting.
  • Ability to contribute to strategic thinking, problem-solving, and service improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills.
  • Desire to develop technical data skills and analytical capabilities.
  • High level of numeracy and accuracy.

About the role

This is an entry-level analytical position focused on further developing core skills. You will primarily deliver information and intelligence on service performance and effectiveness through the collection, validation, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data. You will work collaboratively with Performance Leads to support intelligence and improvement projects, provide crucial data support, and assist with analytical tasks.

Key responsibilities include supporting service managers in establishing and maintaining performance management systems, contributing to statutory returns and internal performance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and timely reporting to support the organisation's commissioning programme and strategic initiatives

About you
