Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data & Digital team in the UK, helping organisations turn data into actionable insights that support operational and strategic decisions. You’ll work with stakeholders to understand challenges, analyse complex data and deliver reporting that informs government, defence and regulated environments.

You’ll gather, cleanse and transform data from multiple sources, build dashboards with Power BI or Tableau, and write SQL queries to enable trusted reporting

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with data validation and joins.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or equivalent tools.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and data manipulation.
• Experience cleansing, reconciling and validating data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and insights.

Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, validate and transform data from multiple sources to support reporting and analysis requirements.
• Create, develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau or equivalent tools.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract and analyse data from structured and semi-structured sources.
• Support the creation and maintenance of KPIs and management information reporting.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
