Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Digital Asset Management team. You will turn data into trusted insights, build Power BI dashboards, and automate data processes to improve how information is captured, analysed and used.

You will work with clients and project teams to translate business problems into practical data and digital solutions, defining KPIs and maintaining data quality across multiple sources.

Qualifications

• Degree in data analytics, data science, computer science, mathematics, engineering, information management or similar.
• Experience applying data analysis and digital tools in a professional setting.
• Strong communication of data insights to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, structure and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Design and develop Power Automate flows to automate data processes.
• Use Power Query to transform and combine data from different sources.
• Analyze asset, project and business data to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
• Translate business problems into practical data and digital solutions.
• Define and maintain KPIs, measures and reporting requirements.
• Assess data quality and identify gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop repeatable, maintainable solutions reducing manual work.
• Document data sources, assumptions, calculations and transformations for traceability.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Digital Asset Management, Information Management and wider project disciplines.
• Take ownership of tasks and deliverables to agreed quality and timescales.

You will help our clients and project teams get greater value from their asset and project information by turning data into trusted insight and developing practical digital solutions that improve how information is captured, analysed, visualised and used.

• Attention to detail is important, but so is the ability to understand the wider purpose of the work and how data can support better decisions.
• You may have a degree, apprenticeship or equivalent professional experience in data analytics, data science, computer science, mathematics, engineering, information management or another relevant discipline.
• You will already have experience applying data analysis and digital tools in a professional environment and be keen to continue developing your technical, analytical and consulting capabilities.
• Microsoft Power BI, including developing dashboards and reports.
• Microsoft Power Automate, including designing and maintaining automated workflows.
• Microsoft Excel and Power Query for analysing, manipulating and transforming data.
• Working with structured datasets, including data cleansing, validation and analysis.
• Translating business requirements into practical analytical or digital solutions.
• Communicating data and analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Managing your own workload and taking ownership of defined pieces of work.
