Job summary

Cabot Learning Federation is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insight across 37 academies. You will join the Central Data Team to deliver high-impact analysis and help standardise data collection practices with academy input.

You bring strong Excel and Power BI skills, experience with MIS systems, and a solid understanding of data protection. Collaboration with leaders and staff will be essential to ensure accurate data flows and timely decision-support.

Qualifications

• At least a level 4 qualification and/or relevant vocational experience.
• Proven experience in data management, organising, maintaining and developing information systems.
• Experience with databases or software such as Power BI to bring together large amounts of data from various sources.
• Good knowledge and understanding of measuring performance, qualification levels and KPIs.
• Knowledge of Data Protection legislation.
• The ability to manage, manipulate and present data in a clear and concise way which is appropriate for the relevant audience.
• Experience with working with a variety of stakeholders and able to work collaboratively to achieve results.

Job Title: Data Analyst

Actual Annual Salary: £18,070 - £19,713 (Based on hours and working weeks)

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £33,009 - £36,011 (CLF Grade D). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only plus INSET days and 6 additional days

Hours: Part‑time, 22.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Thursday - Days worked can be discussed at interview (actual days and/or if 4 part days)

We are looking for a skilled, curious and collaborative Data Analyst to join our Central Data Team, a role where your analysis will directly influence decision making across 37 academies and help improve life chances for thousands of students.

Reporting to the Trust Data Analysis Lead, you’ll deliver high impact analysis that drives clear decisions across the trust. You’ll work closely with the Lead and central data team to maintain consistent, standardised data collection frameworks, while building strong relationships with academy representatives to ensure smooth, accurate data flow. You bring expertise in Excel, Power BI and MIS systems.

This is a role for someone who thrives on transforming complex data into meaningful intelligence that drives improvement.

About you
