Job summary

Ageas UK is seeking a Data Analyst in Reigate to join our dynamic Data & AI function. You will analyse data, design projects, and ensure traceability from concept to outcome across the project lifecycle.

You will proactively identify data opportunities to accelerate product development, create and maintain BI dashboards, and enable self-serve analytics for stakeholders. Hybrid working within the UK is offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with PySpark/SparkSQL is a plus.
• Ability to write efficient queries and debug complex joins.

Salary Range: £50,000 - £65,000 Dependent on Experience

Location: Reigate - Hybrid Working

Data Analyst: Ageas are looking for a Data Analyst, to grow our dynamic and growing Data & AI function, to support in the analysis and design on relevant projects, whilst ensuring traceability of outcome through all stages of the project lifecycle.

As a Data Analyst, you will be crucial in Proactively identify opportunities in data to accelerate product development, as well as creating, maintaining & automating business intelligence dashboards and self-serve capability.

Main Responsibilities as Data Analyst

• Help define the right metrics/kpis across different teams and build out tracking frameworks
• Prioritise, delivering and reporting projects, trends & requests.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Work with architects on best design for data products, evaluating and experimenting with new data tools & supporting ML & AI infrastructure and workflows
• Thrives working in a fast-paced trading environment where insight is key to strategy

Skills and experience you need as Data Analyst

• Proficient in SQL & Python. PySpark & SparkSQL a bonus.
• Strong data viz skills using tools for presenting results such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to write efficient code is essential for writing and troubleshooting queries involving complex joins and functions. Use of Gitis advantageous.
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task, work to tight deadlines and a ‘deliver & iterate’ mindset.
• Experience using LLM APIs to perform analysis or AI assistant coding tools would be beneficial.
