Job summary

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority is seeking a Data Analyst to turn data and research into clear insights that support policy, strategy and performance across CPCA. The role uses Excel and Power BI to analyse datasets and produces reports and visualisations for diverse audiences.

You will collaborate with colleagues and partners to support evidence-based decision making, with exposure to forecasting, modelling and performance reporting depending on your area.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis and producing clear insights.
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI or equivalents.
• GIS experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to turn data and research into clear insight that supports policy, strategy, funding decisions and performance across CPCA.

You’ll:

• Analyse and interpret regional and local datasets.
• Use tools such as Excel and Power BI to produce meaningful analysis.
• Prepare reports, presentations and visualisations for a range of audiences.
• Work with colleagues and partners to support evidence-based decision making.
• Depending on your area, contribute to insight, intelligence, forecasting, modelling, evaluation or performance reporting.

About you

You’ll have experience working with data and producing clear analysis, with strong communication, analytical and numerical skills. Experience with Excel, Power BI or similar tools is essential, with GIS experience desirable.
