Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a leading organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit a Data Analyst. The role focuses on gathering, analysing and reporting operational data to monitor performance and drive improvements.

Strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate findings to stakeholders are essential. The successful candidate will support compliance through maintaining records, producing regular and ad hoc reports, and assisting audits.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience in collating complex information from multiple data sources and using advanced Excel tools to produce detailed reports.
• A full driving licence or access to reliable transport to meet the requirements of travelling throughout Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and report on operational data to monitor performance, KPIs and efficiency targets.
• Collate and maintain inspection certificates, technical records and reports to support regulatory compliance.
• Develop and produce regular and ad hoc reports to meet management and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of sites, assets, inspections and equipment.
• Coordinate and maintain standby rotas, training records and related administrative processes.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing detailed reports and compliance information.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, identify reporting improvements and support the effective use of data systems.

The Person

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Practical experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience in a similar role, including collating complex information from multiple data sources and using advanced Excel tools to produce detailed reports.
• A full driving licence or access to reliable transport to meet the requirements of travelling throughout Northern Ireland.
