Job summary

Digital Waffle, a leading ecommerce retailer, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive smarter, commercially focused decisions. This hands-on role includes leading a small team, mentoring analysts and shaping reporting, data models and dashboards.

You will translate large datasets into actionable insights that improve commercial performance, manage stakeholder requests, and collaborate with the Data Science Manager on the analytics roadmap. Hybrid work in Hereford, 2–3 days on site.

• Extensive commercial experience in data analytics or BI.
• Excellent SQL skills for querying large-scale datasets.
• Experience building dashboards, databases and reporting solutions.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior analysts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid commercial awareness and understanding of business performance.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern BI tools.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.

This is a hands-on senior analytics role with leadership responsibility for a small team. You'll build and improve reporting, data models and dashboards, while also mentoring analysts and helping stakeholders turn data into practical business decisions.

What you'll be doing
