Job summary

Intec Select Limited in Central London is seeking a Data & AI Engineer to own the design, development and maintenance of our internal technology platforms, spanning backend services, data pipelines and AI tooling. This hands-on role requires strong Python and SQL skills, a solid grasp of system design, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable solutions in Azure with CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of commercial, hands-on engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming and SQL skills.
• Experience building backend services or APIs.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system design.
• Familiarity with Git, testing and deployment practices.
• Genuine passion for technology and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend apps, APIs and data pipelines.
• Build relational databases (PostgreSQL) and integrate data sources.
• Contribute to system architecture for secure, reliable solutions.
• Develop and improve internal apps and automated workflows.
• Work with Azure cloud, CI/CD and modern software practices.
• Develop AI-enabled tools for document processing and automation.
