Job summary

Co-op is reshaping its Digital, Technology and Data function and seeks a Data Business Analyst in Manchester. You will turn business challenges into data-driven solutions, partnering with Commercial, Pricing and Finance to translate needs into clear data product requirements.

You'll facilitate workshops, map data flows, and work with Data Engineering and BI teams to deliver insights, reporting and value across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business/Data Analyst, delivering data projects.
• Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
• Experience mapping processes, user journeys and data flows for clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Understand business challenges and data needs across Commercial, Pricing, Promotions and Finance.
• Document current processes, data flows and decision-making activities.
• Run workshops and interviews to refine requirements and translate into specs.
• Define future requirements and help teams realise value from changes.
• Translate requirements for Data Engineering and BI teams.
• Support planning, estimation and prioritisation with Product Managers.
• Collaborate with Data & AI teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement of analysis practices and tools.
