Job summary

Park Avenue Recruitment is working with a Surrey-based Housing Association to recruit an Interim Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor for an initial 6-month contract. You will lead on damp and mould issues, disrepair work, and ensure residents live in safer, healthier environments.

You will inspect properties, manage remedial works, produce technical reports, and coordinate with contractors and residents across a Surrey portfolio. Hybrid with 2 office days per week; immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing associations or social housing environments.
• Strong knowledge of domestic property maintenance and building defects.
• Experience managing damp, mould, disrepair, and stock investment projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties to diagnose damp, mould, and building defects.
• Specify, procure, and monitor remedial works programmes.
• Produce technical reports, schedules of work, and specs.
• Manage contractors from start to sign-off and review variations.
