Damp & Mould Surveyor

Temporary Contract | 3-6 Months (Potential Extension) | £40.00 per Hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Damp & Mould Surveyor to join a housing maintenance team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with a strong background in damp, mould, and housing condition inspections to make a real impact on residents' living conditions.

The Role

• You will be responsible for investigating reports of damp, mould, condensation, and other housing health hazards across residential properties.
• You will carry out detailed inspections, identify root causes, and provide practical recommendations to ensure homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections relating to damp, mould, condensation, and disrepair issues.
• Diagnose building defects and identify underlying causes of housing-related hazards.
• Produce detailed survey reports, specifications, and remedial recommendations.
• Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective resolutions.
• Monitor remedial works and ensure repairs are completed to the required standard.
• Support compliance with housing legislation and healthy homes initiatives.

Requirements
