Job summary

Yorkshire Housing is seeking a Damp and Mould Team Leader to head a specialist team diagnosing, managing and resolving damp and mould issues across its homes. You’ll impact customer wellbeing, service performance and compliance while developing a motivated team delivering high‑quality outcomes.

You’ll provide day‑to‑day leadership, coach staff, ensure safety, and use data to drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, customer‑focussed environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of damp, mould and condensation issues within housing.
• Understanding of legislation, health and safety requirements and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a First Responder, Multiskilled Operatives and Technical Surveyors team.
• Ensure cases are managed safely, to timescales and with strong customer focus.
• Use data and reporting to monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
• Oversee contractors and ensure work complies with industry standards and legislation.
