Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a professional surveyor to deliver a damp, mould, condensation and building pathology surveying service across the Council's housing portfolio in Greenwich. You will diagnose issues, recommend remedial actions, and oversee repairs to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and habitable.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in surveys for damp, mould, condensation, and building defects in residential settings.
• Ability to diagnose building pathology and identify root causes of damp-related problems.
• Experience in specifying and overseeing remedial work from start to finish.
• Experience supervising contractors and evaluating their performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and surveys of properties to identify damp, mould, and condensation issues.
• Utilize surveying techniques and diagnostic tools to determine underlying causes.
• Evaluate effects on residents and suggest remedial actions.
• Perform seasonal monitoring and environmental assessments as necessary.
• Create detailed reports, drawings, floor plans, and specifications for remedial work.
