Job summary

Lely Center Ayr is seeking a Sales Representative to cover Central Scotland, helping dairy farmers adopt robotic milking, feeding and farm management technology. You will build strong relationships and guide customers from inquiry to quotation and closing.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing dairy farming customers.
• Identifying opportunities for robotic milking, feeding, manure handling and farm management solutions.
• Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation and closing the sale.
• Conducting farm visits and delivering professional presentations of Lely products and solutions.
• Working closely with service and farm management support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Attending agricultural shows, open days, demonstrations, and industry events.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments within the dairy sector.
