As Dairy R&D specialist, you’ll have a diverse role working on industry-leading innovation projects.
It’s a great time to join this successful company as it embarks on exciting growth plans. You’ll use your dairy expertise to guide the business and shape the future innovation pipeline.
You’ll report to the Group Head of Development and work alongside NPD Managers and Technologists.
This R&D Manager role involves delivering NPD, EPD, and Continuous Improvement projects, providing technical support, and shaping the R&D innovation pipeline.
You’ll build on an impressive product portfolio seen on supermarket shelves, developing for global brands and retailer own-label ranges.
You’ll identify opportunities to expand the product portfolio into new areas or customers, using your knowledge of global ingredient trends and processing improvements, including developing business cases for new production facilities.
To succeed, you should have a solid understanding of dairy formulation and processing, a Food Science background, and experience in dairy product development. A curious mindset and eagerness to learn are essential.
The role offers hybrid working and involves travel between sites and customers. Ideally, you would be based in the Midlands/Central England region, but this is not essential.
