Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland in Manchester is recruiting for a Process Optimisation Technician to join our dairy operations. The role provides technical expertise to support value creation and continuous improvement, aligned with Muller values and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong process background in food manufacturing, solid problem solving skills, process mapping ability, and the capacity to collaborate with engineers and frontline teams.

Qualifications

• Strong process background in a food manufacturing environment.
• High level problem solving capability.
• Ability to process map and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with PDCA and continuous improvement.
• Basic level knowledge of PLC fault finding.
• Knowledge of effluent treatment operations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to sustain value creation.
• Coach frontline team members to solve problems.
• Apply PDCA to drive real-time improvements.
• Map processes and support engineering & technicians.
• Guide effluent plant operations and optimise ETP processes.
• Respond to out-of-hours emergency requests.
