Job summary

Halter is seeking a driven Account Manager for the Canterbury region, with a focus on farmer success and revenue growth. You will manage existing dairy farm customers, help with onboarding, and collaborate with product teams to translate field feedback into improvements.

You will travel on-farm and work with a South Island team and Halter HQ in Auckland to support high-performing farms and a sustainable farming future.

Qualifications

• Background in relationship management/account management roles.
• Experience in dairy farming or wider agriculture is a bonus.
• Strong business acumen and ability to drive farmer success.
• Willingness to travel and spend time on farms with a regional team.

Responsibilities

• Own retention, renewals, and expansion targets for Halter in the Canterbury region.
• Renew customer agreements and grow revenue by adding value in each interaction.
• Support onboarding, training, and deployment of the Halter system on farms.
• Build trusted relationships with farmers, managers, and families.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide farmer-focused feedback on reproduction, pasture, and agronomy.
