Job summary

Greencore Group is a leading UK producer of convenience food with 36 manufacturing sites and 28,000 colleagues. We’re seeking a Material Group Procurement Lead to drive sourcing strategy across the portfolio, optimize total cost, and manage supplier relationships within dairy and egg categories.

You’ll engage with Commercial, Operations and Sustainability teams to align plans, monitor market changes, and support inflation recovery while ensuring quality and inbound service levels across sites.

Qualifications

• Degree calibre or equivalent required for this role.
• Experience with procurement in food manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with supplier management and cost recovery.
• Strong Excel and data analysis for forecasting costs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of Material Group Sourcing Strategy.
• Lead all procurement activity for the material group with cost control and forecasting.
• Engage with Commercial teams for market updates and inflation recovery.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technical and Sustainability teams to ensure quality and inbound service.
