Job summary

Saputo Dairy UK is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead category strategies for Direct Materials or Packaging in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will partner with senior stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value beyond cost, shaping sustainability and supply resilience.

The role is based at the Weybridge office with the option to work from home up to one day per week, requiring four days on site. Strong negotiation skills and strategic mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in leading strategic sourcing and cost/value optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver category strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Lead sourcing activities and commercial negotiations for Direct Materials or Packaging.
• Identify opportunities to optimise cost, resilience and sustainability.
• Build strong supplier partnerships to enable continuity and growth.
• Analyse market trends and cost drivers to inform decisions.
• Manage supplier performance, risk and contract compliance.
