Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients, at the Droitwich Dairy site, is hiring a Cream Packing Operative to join our production team. This permanent, full-time role covers rotational days and afternoons, including weekends, with shift times 06:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00 in Droitwich.

You’ll manually pack dairy products, perform quality checks, follow SOPs, operate equipment, replenish supplies, maintain hygiene, and support colleagues to meet daily output targets while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, production, warehousing or FMCG preferred.
• A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills for quality checks and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manually packing dairy products into boxes and ensuring quality standards.
• Carry out routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Follow SOPs and site safety requirements at all times.
• Operate equipment and production processes to meet daily targets.
• Replenish materials and packing supplies as required.
• Maintain high hygiene standards with a 'clean as you go' approach.
• Support training and development of colleagues on tasks.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with general production activities and department standards.
