Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant for immediate and ongoing daily supply across Kingston primary schools (EYFS–KS2). Roles include supporting lessons, groups and 1:1 assistance, with flexible day-to-day scheduling and weekly PAYE payments.

Daily rates range from £90 to £110, and opportunities may lead to longer-term roles. DBS and safeguarding knowledge are expected, with dedicated consultant support from Tradewind.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in school/educational settings
• Experience supporting EYFS/KS1/KS2 pupils
• SEN experience desirable but not essential
• Patient, caring and positive approach to supporting children
• Adaptable, reliable and confident across different school environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
• Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge

Tradewind Recruitment – Immediate / Ongoing Daily Supply Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (EYFS - KS2) – Kingston. Day-to-day and short-term supply work. Daily rate £90 – £110/day. About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools throughout Kingston and the surrounding areas on a day-to-day and short-term basis. We have regular demand for TAs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils in both classroom and small-group settings. Whether you are an experienced TA, recently qualified or looking to gain further experience within education, we can help find opportunities that suit your experience, preferred year groups and availability. As a supply Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting the class teacher with lessons, working with small groups or providing 1:1 support to pupils who require additional assistance. Schools value TAs who are adaptable, proactive and confident working with different pupils and staff teams.
