Protocol Education Ltd in London area is seeking Nursery Practitioners, Teaching Assistants, and SEN Support Staff for daily supply and short-term assignments across Waltham Forest. You will support learning, routines, and wellbeing in welcoming nurseries, mainstream schools, and SEN settings.

This flexible role offers varied placements to fit your availability, with opportunities across Early Years and SEN settings.

Competenze

• Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school, or childcare setting.

Supply Nursery Practitioner / SEN Teaching Assistant – Waltham Forest

The Role

You will support children’s learning and development by:

• Assisting teachers and nursery staff with daily activities and routines.
• Supporting children through play-based and engaging learning.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support.
• Supporting children with SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
• Supporting personal care where required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a nursery, school, or childcare setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child development.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
