Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Senior Mental Health Therapeutic Practitioner to support children and young people with mild to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties. The post holder will work across Primary Care Networks, GP surgeries, and community settings to provide assessments, brief interventions and family support.

Qualifications

• Experience with CYP mental health settings.
• Must be HCPC/SSC/NMC/BACP registered.
• Experience providing case management supervision.

Responsibilities

• Undertake mental health assessments and formulate intervention plans.
• Deliver brief evidence-based psychological interventions (CBT-informed, systemic, solution-focused).
• Manage a caseload of children and young people with emotional and mental health needs.
• Undertake risk assessments and safeguarding activities per policy.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and evaluate interventions.
• Promote self-management and resilience through therapy and psychoeducation.
