Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a CYP Psychological Training: Therapy Trainee – IPT-A modality within a central CAMHS team. This NHSE-funded, one-year position covers salary and training costs, with training in IPT-A offered in partnership with the Anna Freud Centre and UCL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing, psychotherapy, or related field.
• Professional qualification in a mental health profession is required (e.g., EMHP, PWP, MH nursing, psychotherapy, counselling).
• Registered/accredited professional qualification in a MH profession is a pre-requisite for IPTUK registration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IPT-A interventions as part of the CYP training pathway.
• Work across CAMHS pathways (Luton Emotional/Behavioural, CAMHS Access Services, Adolescent Mental Health).
• Undertake a structured training program while providing clinical input.
• Support service users safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration.
