Evans Cycles is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in running day-to-day operations, lead the team, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional cycling-focused experience for every customer.

You will mentor staff, coach on product knowledge and selling techniques, manage merchandising, inventory, cash handling, and store administration. This role offers opportunities within the Frasers Group, with rewards and development opportunities.

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience.

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent service.
• Set high customer experience standards.
• Drive sales through coaching on product knowledge.
• Oversee merchandising and store presentation.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Support inventory management and stock accuracy.
• Oversee cash handling and opening/closing duties.
• Promote a safe, compliant store environment.
• Gather customer feedback and share ideas.
• Carry out admin tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
