Job summary

Activate Learning invites applications for a Cycle Workshop Trainer based at the Oxford Cycles Workshop. You will deliver high‑quality teaching, training and assessment to students and client groups, ensuring an engaging learning experience in a hands‑on bike workshop environment.

The role is full‑time (37 hours) Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work. You should have extensive cycle workshop experience across road, MTB and e‑bikes; Cytech Level 3 is desirable and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Cytech Level 3 qualifications are desirable; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience in bicycle workshop and working with road/ MTB/ e-bike bikes.
• Strong understanding of workshop best practice, manufacturer specifications, technical resources and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching, training and assessment to students and client groups.
• Based at the Oxford Cycles Workshop with occasional training at other locations.
• Teach or coach in hands‑on sessions and demonstrate practical skills to small groups.
