Job summary

Activate Learning Group is seeking a Cycle Workshop Trainer to lead hands-on training across road, mountain bike, e-bike, and hybrid bikes. You will run courses at the Oxford Cycles Workshop, delivering quality teaching, assessment, and practical demonstrations to diverse client groups.

The role is full-time and based at Leys College with occasional travel to other locations as required. Ideal candidates have several years in a bicycle workshop, strong workshop practices, and a willingness to

Qualifications

• Several years' experience in a bicycle workshop.
• Strong knowledge of road, MTB, e-bike and hybrid bikes.
• Good organisational and stock management skills.
• Willingness to work towards training and assessing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment to students and client groups.
• Run training courses at Oxford Cycles Workshop and other locations as required.
• Maintain workshop standards, health and safety, and equipment.
• Demonstrate practical skills and engage with small groups of learners.
