Job summary

Samaritan’s Purse UK is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Global Security Operations team. Based near our site by the M6, the role covers Europe, coordinating with the US HQ to monitor, triage, and respond to threats while handling security tickets and cross-functional inquiries.

The role requires active participation in the charity’s spiritual life, regular devotions, and a strong Christian witness in the workplace. Occasional out-of-hours support may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring, triaging and responding to security alerts.
• Ability to analyze incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with security technologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and investigates security alerts, logs, and reports to detect incidents.
• Responds to cybersecurity support tickets and provides guidance on security issues.
• Supports regional security initiatives and vulnerability management.
• Conducts security assessments of third-party vendors and tools.
• Participates in threat-hunting activities and stays informed on emerging threats.
• Occasionally provides out-of-hours support.
• Attends devotions and maintains Christian witness in the workplace.
