Job summary

Sword Group is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Operational Security team in the UK. The role focuses on cyber assurance across the IS environment, identifying and reporting cyber risks, and supporting third-party security engagements.

You'll work in a 4-on/4-off shift pattern (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am), collaborating with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to safeguard information assets and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and network intrusion detection systems (essential).
• Cloud security delivery and understanding current cyber threats (essential).
• Industry certifications such as CySA+ or Security+ and risk management knowledge (essential).
• Understanding data security and governance requirements and controls (essential).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills (essential).
• Strong verbal and written communication to explain concepts (essential).
• Self-motivated with willingness to go the extra mile (essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide cyber assurance over IS environment and protect assets.
• Identify, evaluate, and report cybersecurity risk to information assets.
• Articulate cyber risk impacts to customer points of contact.
• Support second-line assurance activities for confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Work with teams and vendors to manage third-party cyber risks.
• Support regulatory compliance and incident management improvements.
