Job summary

EMSOU Cyber Crime is seeking a Cyber Protect Officer to safeguard communities by providing trusted cyber security advice and by responding proactively to emerging threats.

Based in Annesley in the East Midlands, you will contribute to situational awareness, work with partners on shared aims, and help review actions to strengthen cyber capabilities.

The role offers formal training, development opportunities, and a pathway to advanced policing roles within EMSOU.

Qualifications

• Experience providing cyber security guidance to others.
• Managed cyber incidents and ensured systems comply with legal requirements.
• Collaborated with partners on shared aims including on-scene management.

Responsibilities

• Understanding threat using intelligence and contributing to situational awareness.
• Promoting national materials and campaigns in support of cybercrime and fraud reporting.
• Develop partnerships and work with organisations to review and recommend actions to build cyber capabilities and reduce cyber threats.
