Job summary

The East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) is seeking a Cyber Protect Officer to help protect communities from cyber threats. You will provide trusted cyber security advice, respond to emerging threats, and work with partners to reduce risk and prevent crime.

The role offers flexible working options and a permanent part-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience providing cyber security and mitigation advice to others.
• Previously managed cyber incidents and implemented systems that comply with legal requirements.
• Worked in partnership with others on shared aims including on-scene management experience.

Responsibilities

• Promoting national materials and campaigns in support of cybercrime and fraud reporting.

You’ll provide trusted cyber security advice, responding proactively and reactively to emerging and current threats to reduce the risk of harm and prevent future criminality.
