Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a skilled professional to manage cyber claims for a global client base. You will work in the Global Cyber & Technology Unit, coordinating with clients, TPAs, legal advisors, and vendors to deliver premier claims service.

The role requires experience in cyber insurance, strong communication, and knowledge of first and third party cyber coverages, with involvement in reserving and risk management. A dynamic, client-focused team environment awaits.

Responsibilities

• Handle cyber claims for a broad range of clients worldwide, in the Global Cyber & Technology Unit.
• Work with clients, TPA service providers, external legal advisors and vendors to ensure premier claims service.
• Understand first and third party cyber coverages, reserving evaluations and cyber risk management considerations.
• Handle Lloyds Syndicate as well as company claims.
• Liaise with underwriters on wording/policy issues and expert panels; attend client meetings.
• Provide claims intelligence to the Cyber Risk Advisory team and assist on related projects.

What will you do in this role?

• Handle cyber claims for a broad range of clients worldwide, written in the Global Cyber & Technology Unit and reporting to the Cyber Claims Manager.
• Work closely with clients, TPA service providers, external legal advisors and specialist vendors, market leaders and brokers ensuring a premier claims service to clients is maintained.
• The candidate will be accustomed to either handling or broking cyber claims and will have a working appreciation of the practical application of first and third party cyber coverages, reserving evaluations, cyber risk management considerations and, the roles and responsibilities of the various vendors typically engaged following a cyber incident.
• To handle Lloyds Syndicate as well as company claims.
• Liaise with respective underwriters on wording/policy issues and expert panels, provide claims information and attend client meetings as appropriate.
• Provide claims intelligence to the Cyber Risk Advisory team and Incident Commander and assist in various related projects as necessary.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What you need to have:

• Specific and relevant cyber insurance experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to liaise with customers and service providers, both internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of CLASS/ECF2.
• Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

What we prefer you to have:

• Experience working for a syndicate or company or perhaps a broker as a claims advocate/negotiator and gained sufficient practical experience in the marketplace to independently perform the above duties and responsibilities.
• Legal and/or professional qualification, but this is not essential.
• Experience in TPA management and oversight.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of X to Y. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
