Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Risk & Controls Manager (Cyber & Technology) to advance SSE's cyber and technology risk framework across IT, OT, digital and data platforms. You will translate enterprise risk requirements into practical delivery and drive improvements with the Cyber Defence GRC team.

You will lead risk assessment, controls design, and reporting, ensuring clear ownership and timely remediation actions, while developing colleagues and promoting an inclusive culture across SSE.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing cyber, technology, or information risks in a large organisation.
• Ability to translate risk into practical controls and action.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to explain complex topics clearly.
