Job summary

Thales Group in Fareham is recruiting for a 2027 Project Manager Apprentice - Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship. The programme combines academic study with hands-on project management experience within Thales Cyber Security, Digital Banking.

You will learn governance, planning and stakeholder engagement while contributing to real projects. The two-year apprenticeship offers on-the-job training, a salary of £24,000, and a clear path to a permanent role.

Qualifications

• A Levels grade C or above in any subject or equivalent L3 qualification such as BTEC Diploma, T Level or Level 3 apprenticeship.
• Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including English Language and Mathematics.
• Completion of the Level 4 Project Manager Associate Apprenticeship standard with The Apprentice Academy is expected.

Responsibilities

• Scope and define projects based on customer work requests.
• Deliver solutions in line with customer requirements and Thales proposals.
• Drive projects with clear planning, risks, resource levels and quality.
• Manage project budget and Thales Digital Banking interests.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in the UK and overseas.
