Job summary

Thales UK in Crawley offers a 2-year Level 4 Project Planning & Controls Apprenticeship, starting Sept 2027, with a salary of £24,000 per annum and a permanent role on successful completion. The programme combines on‑the‑job training with academic study in a bid and project management environment.

You will learn planning, scheduling, governance and cost control, supported by virtual delivery, coaching, and hands-on assignments. Hybrid/flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• 2 A Levels grade C+ in any subject or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
• Five GCSEs grade 9-4 with English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining integrated master schedules.
• Contribute to project reports and attend related reviews.
• Assist in the deployment and reporting of risk and opportunity management.
• Help ensure correct and effective project governance is applied.
• Operate Thales UK tools to manage schedule, budgets, risks and opportunities.
