Qualifications

• Strong background in cyber security disciplines.
• Proven leadership in Cyber Security Operations.
• Experience owning and improving a security control environment.
• Experience recruiting, managing and developing engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Security Operations team, driving capability, delivery and succession planning.
• Act as the Security Operations SME and escalation point for cyber security events, improving resilience and security effectiveness.
• Partner with security engineers, product managers and senior leaders to shape and deliver the security roadmap.
• Drive technical initiatives to strengthen the security control environment and improve operational effectiveness.
• Lead technical discussions across engineering and architecture, promoting secure-by-design practices.
• Build a culture of ownership and KPI-driven performance.
