The Opportunity

You will be the main point of contact for Cyber Security for the A-SAFE Group, supporting our UK sites and 17 global subsidiaries.

You will work closely with our IT & Business Systems, Digital, and Technology teams, ensuring IT security remains a top priority.

Your responsibilities include protecting the company from cyber attacks, maintaining and improving security measures, ensuring compliance with standards like Cyber Essentials and ISO27001, managing security tools and policies, and providing out-of-hours support when needed.

What we would like you to bring to our team:

• Cloud Security Expertise: knowledge of cloud security, particularly for platforms like AWS and Azure, including WAF, RBAC, VNet, Azure Security Centre, S3, and CloudTrail.
• Experience in assessing technology vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
• Previous experience in a similar cybersecurity role.
• Incident response experience, including detection, response, and recovery.
• Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials.
• Risk assessment and mitigation skills.
• Continuous monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Experience managing third-party security vendors.
• Ability to stay updated with cybersecurity trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
