Job summary

Babcock International in the UK is seeking a Cyber Security Lead to protect critical defence infrastructure programmes. You will lead secure-by-design delivery, shape security architecture and work with engineers, architects and delivery teams to embed security across the lifecycle.

This on-site role at Devonport Royal Dockyard requires SC clearance and offers the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while aligning with MOD frameworks such as NIST and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional experience in cyber security, information security, or risk assurance.
• Experience with threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Experience with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27005.
• Experience in defence, government, or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading secure by design assurance activities across complex programmes.
• Producing technical security evidence including risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Supporting programme teams, architects, and engineers to embed cyber security best practice.
• Conducting threat modelling and cyber risk assessments using recognised frameworks.
• Developing risk treatment plans and implementing mitigation strategies.
