Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cyber security engineering for government or defence projects.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., STIG, NIST) and protective security.
• Experience with vulnerability management, incident response and security policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular vulnerability scanning and reporting to identify weaknesses.
• Maintain and update endpoint security controls and policies across devices.
• Lead incident identification, containment, and investigation, and manage security tickets.
• Hardening systems with patches and configuration baselines, ensuring CIS/STIG alignment.
• Coordinate security changes and maintain documentation of security decisions and changes.
• Participate in regular security meetings and reviews with stakeholders.
• Document security activities, controls, and evidence for audits.
