Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking multiple Cyber Security Engineers to join on-site in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The role involves working with a team to uphold strong cyber security posture on customer sites, with occasional travel to other UK sites.

You will provide cybersecurity engineering services for classified and unclassified networks and support logging, policy design, and secure design practices. Ideal candidates have MOD/Home Office experience, hands-on Kubernetes security, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Experience in MOD or Home Office project environments.
• Strong knowledge of network and system security including firewalls, IDS/IPS and host security.
• Hands-on with Trellix, Ivanti, ClearSwift and Yubikey.
• Understanding of secure coding and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25).
• Incident detection and response in MOD environments; regulatory frameworks like NIST/CIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative solutions to complex technical issues and problems.
• Maintain systems to meet required security posture against baselines.
• Coordinate with Security Monitoring team to forward logs to SIEM.
• Collaborate with customer and agencies to design policies and technical designs.
• Assess vulnerabilities, apply risk mitigation, validate secure systems and test products.
• Maintain and support security enforcing functions.
