Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join its IT team in the North East on a hybrid footing. You will protect systems, infrastructure and data, monitor threats, and drive security improvements across the organisation.

• Experience in a Cyber Security or Security Engineering role.
• Knowledge of enterprise security technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, EDR, Microsoft Defender, and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience securing Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with security incident response and risk management.
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft SC-200, AZ-500, SC-100, ISC² SSCP, CCSP, or CISSP.

Location: North East (Hybrid/Office-Based)

Contract: Permanent | Full-time (37 hours)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing IT team, responsible for protecting business systems, infrastructure, and data. This role will support security operations, strengthen cyber resilience, and ensure security best practices are embedded across the organisation.
