British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Associate Manager in London

This is an evergreen requisition, meaning that we do not have a position available for this role at the moment, but you will be contacted as soon as a position becomes available if your application is suitable.

Responsibilities include maintaining strategic relationships with designated DRBUs in Cyber Security, addressing market needs such as risk assessments, trainings, incidents, and implementing key Cyber Resilience initiatives. Collaborate with other Cyber Security teams to ensure relevant services, and maintain expertise in a designated domain like finance, supply chain, marketing, or system integrations.

Impact of this role: Shaping the security posture of multiple markets and influencing leadership teams to prioritize cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary contact for security matters for DRBU, aligning cybersecurity priorities, and representing Cyber Security at various levels.
  2. Deliver critical cybersecurity metrics, coordinate actions, and ensure targets are met.
  3. Translate business requirements for cybersecurity teams and organize delivery in markets.
  4. Manage cybersecurity projects, risk assessments, and reassess risks periodically.
  5. Drive regional or global security projects related to your expertise.
  6. Manage cyber risks with DRBU partners, and deploy OT security projects if applicable.
  7. Own tools and processes related to risk assessment and assurance, and contribute to GRC cyber standards.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in information security, with increasing scope and responsibility, and experience managing communication with senior business partners.
  • Ability to translate technical language for business audiences, with strong business acumen.
  • Experience assessing cyber risks, managing small to medium projects, and understanding security technologies, architecture, and audits.
  • Knowledge of networking, application development, incident response, third-party management, OT, and security in specific business areas.
  • Understanding of cloud security (Azure, AWS) and threat detection.
  • Decision-making skills under pressure.
