Job summary

Aspire Technology Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst L3 to join our SOC team at the Gateshead Head Office. You will conduct in-depth investigations, respond to malicious or complex alerts, and help improve detection fidelity through tuning and automation.

You will mentor L2 analysts, manage multiple incidents, and collaborate with a cross-functional security team. The role offers full-time hours, a competitive salary, and a strong focus on continuous learning and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring security tools and alert triage.
• Aiming for strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex security issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth investigations of malicious incidents or complex alerts escalated by analysts.
• Mentoring and training analysts.
• Assist in incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Prioritising and managing workload effectively, managing several open Incidents and requests whilst following existing procedures and best practices.
• Support continual improvement by identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency, including automation of manual processes.
