Job summary

HSBC UK is seeking a Testing Strategy & QA Governance Consultant (Cyber) in Sheffield with a hybrid work pattern. You will define the Testing Strategy and QA standards across Cyber, and drive the Maturity Framework with remediation roadmaps to ensure audit-ready evidence in regulated environments.

You will lead training, establish KPIs/OKRs, and govern tooling adoption, partnering with the Cyber QA Practice Lead and delivery teams to improve quality and enable secure digital services globally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining and delivering departmental Testing Strategies and governance frameworks.
• Experience aligning testing strategy with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• 6+ years of QA experience, 2+ years in a QA Manager or QA Architect Lead role.
• Experience supporting QA/audit readiness in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Testing Strategy, QA Maturity Framework and QA standards for Cyber.
• Lead maturity assessments and remediation planning; promote automated testing practices.
• Provide support to Cyber QA Lead to implement the vision across delivery teams.
• Define training for Testing Practice members and monitor QA tool adoption.
