Job summary

Air IT Group is seeking an experienced Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor to join our Consultancy Team. You will own end-to-end consultancy engagements, helping customers achieve and maintain Cyber Essentials compliance and delivering assessments.

You’ll also apply offensive security expertise through penetration testing engagements and ongoing technical development. A hybrid work policy and occasional travel support your role.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering Cyber Essentials Plus assessments.
• Strong Windows and Linux knowledge for assessment work.
• Familiarity with firewall, EDR and SIEM technologies.
• Experience handling identity platforms (AD/Entra ID) and TCP/IP networking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on achieving Cyber Essentials compliance.
• Deliver Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments.
• Plan and deliver penetration testing engagements.
• Produce clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Manage consultancy engagements from start to finish.
• Travel to Air IT offices or customer sites as required.
