Job summary

InfoSec People Ltd is seeking a Security Consultant in Hampshire with hybrid working (2 days in the office). You will deliver cyber security assessments and assurance engagements, supporting Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 reviews.

The role focuses on meaningful, hands-on improvement and tangible client outcomes. This opportunity emphasises technical curiosity, collaboration, and ongoing learning within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certified Cyber Essentials Plus assessor.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, security controls, and governance.
• Experience with vulnerability management and cloud security concepts.
• Consultancy or client-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cyber security assessments and assurance engagements.
• Support Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments.
• Conduct security reviews against recognised frameworks including ISO 27001.
• Review the effectiveness of technical and operational security controls.
• Identify security risks, control gaps and areas for improvement.
• Produce clear reports and practical recommendations.
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support organisations through remediation and continual improvement activities.
• Contribute to the development of assurance methodologies and best practices.
