Ruptura InfoSecurity in the UK is seeking an experienced Cyber Essentials Assessor to deliver Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments, evaluating client environments and providing actionable recommendations to improve cyber resilience through our assessment portal.

This remote role includes occasional travel to client sites and offers exposure to a diverse range of industries while developing broader cybersecurity skills.

Qualifications

• IASME Cyber Essentials Assessor status with hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and client-facing skills.
• Experience with government or recognised security frameworks (CREST/ CHECK) desirable.
• Degree in Cyber Security or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to understand their environments and gather evidence.
• Review security controls and identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
• Manage assessments through the portal with accurate records and documentation.
• Prepare clear assessment reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to development of assessment processes and tools.
