Job summary

Intact Insurance, formerly RSA, is expanding its Cyber Defence team in the UK. The Cyber Defence Transformation Analyst will drive continuous improvement, automation and optimisation of cyber defence tooling and processes to enhance operational effectiveness.

You will work to reduce manual effort, improve response speed and align with evolving threat landscapes while supporting business priorities and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cyber defence domains including vulnerability management, exposure management, SOC operations and threat intelligence.
• Experience with security tooling such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, EDR, identity security and attack surface management platforms.
• Proven capability in automation using workflows, scripting or orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of system integration patterns, APIs and data flows across security platforms.
• Familiarity with CTEM, NIST or similar cyber security frameworks.
• Understanding of secure architecture principles and secure by design approaches.

Responsibilities

• Defining and delivering a roadmap for continuous improvement across cyber defence tooling and operational processes.
• Identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation to reduce manual effort and improve response speed.
• Embedding best practice frameworks and modern approaches, including exposure management, attack surface reduction and shift left principles.
• Establishing metrics to track operational performance, efficiency gains and risk reduction outcomes.
